Sessions，是深圳硬石酒店里的西式餐馆，以音乐为主题而得名，餐厅可容纳143个座位。餐厅的设计主旨是提供一个充满活力和提升的空间氛围。入口处以轻食快餐柜台将餐厅划分为两部份，一）主餐厅从入口处直线排列到私人用餐区；二）越过开放厨房是更隐密安静的用餐区，同样以另一个私人包间最为端头。

以黑胶唱片传达音乐主题，并制成格子屏风隔断和墙壁的艺术品。开放式厨房是餐厅的中心焦点，增加了悬挂式的唱片封套的方格装饰。

充满活力色彩的层压天花板为空间增添了摇滚能量。特殊设计的屏幕以东方格子作品为灵感的黑胶唱片层压，增强了层次感，并为休息区提供了隐私。充满活力的色彩和音乐的图像被编织成直线的建筑秩序，以反映控制与能量的东西方平衡。

Sessions, the Western Bistro in the Hard Rock Hotel, Shenzhen, takes music as DNA and hence the name. With a seating capacity of 143 people, the design aims to provide a vibrant and up lifting atmosphere. Upon entering, one passes through a grab and go counter where the restaurant divides into 2 main sections: a) The main dining room on a straight axel arrangement from the entrance, terminating in a private dining room, and b) The more intimate and quite dining area beyond the open kitchen, also terminating in another private room.

The music theme is conveyed though the use of old vinyl records that are made into lattice screens partitions and wall artworks. The open kitchen is the central focus, enhanced with a hanging grid of vinyl record covers.

Vibrant color laminated ceiling adds to the rock energy for the space. Custom designed screens laminated with vinyl records inspired by oriental lattice works enhances the layering and provides privacy to the seating area. The vibrancy of colour and music iconography is weaved into the rectilinear architectural order to reflect an East-West balance of Control vs Energy.
